The Bergen County Board of Social Services is open to the public.  While we welcome you to apply for our programs in person, we encourage the public to use the on-line options available through this webpage. In many cases, this will be the quickest and most efficient method to apply for services.

We strongly encourage the use of on-line applications using the links above. If you need help to apply online, you could come to our office for assistance, every Monday from 09:00 AM until 02:00 PM. We will have representatives from the Community Food Bank of New Jersey who may be able to help you.

Summer EBT

NJ Summer EBT is a child nutrition program intended to reduce hunger and food insecurity for children who lose access to free school meals through the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) during the summer when school is not in session.
